Body, Plastic, Time
Plastic Wrap is a performance that symbolically exposes the dominance of plastic over biological mass/Life. It also shows how plastic compresses and gently takes over every existence of air, water and body. In this work, I wrapped my face with a plastic cover and held it like that until the last space of air was left. The plastic breathed with its own pride and movement. The performance lasted for about 5 minutes. The work intends to portray how man-made plastic can swallow and disrupt ecological balance of nature.
